Andile Khumalo
Andile serves as Chairman of investee companies Ince and Brave Group, and also founded I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR. His current non-executive roles include serving as Chairman of the Investment Committee of South African National Parks and an Independent Audit Committee Member at the Amplats Group Provident Fund.
Andile previously served as a member of the Takeover Regulations Panel, a member of the Directorate of Market Abuse, a non-executive director of South African Airways, and President of ABASA.

She is a Non-Executive director of Valued Citizens Initiatives, an NGO, since 2009, and found great value in giving back to the community. She served two terms as committee member at the IRBA Committee for Auditor Ethics, and holds a Masters’ Degree in Commerce. She has amassed extensive experience in all aspects of the B-BBEE industry and its impact on the economy and transformation in general, which is utilised to great effect when assessing transactions.

Through her engagement with leaders of global agencies, c-suite executives, government officials and industry experts, worldwide, Gugulethu has gained a wealth of experience in financial journalism with a sound grasp of financial markets, economic data and current affairs and the impact this has on the business community.

Andile Tlhoaele has more than 18-years experience in the transformation of the ICT sector through the development of the ICT Sector Code when the First Draft ICT Charter was published by the ICT Charter Working Group Task Team in March in 2004. He has been the chairperson of the inaugural B-BBEE ICT Sector Council since 2018 and re-elected again as chairperson in March 2020.
Vukani Mngxati
With more than 18 years of consulting experience, Mngxati brings extensive experience in various strategic roles, combining technical expertise and business acumen. He also understands the local market and has been delivering real value as well as impact for public and private sector clients through innovative digital solutions. Prior to his current role, he was the managing director for Accenture’s Health and Public Service—a position which has given him invaluable experience and insight in the public sector space.
Mngxati is deeply passionate about helping clients achieve the type of agility they need to succeed in today’s climate with strong interest in emerging digital technologies. He believes embracing such technologies is vital for Governments and clients’ survival and success. “This is a journey that not only improves service delivery and bottom lines, but is also a part of nation building, making this an incredibly exciting time to be able to help shape the future of Africa through digital technologies,” says Mngxati.
Mngxati holds a BCom degree in Business Information Systems and Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
Gregory Mofokeng
He is the CEO of the Black Business Council in the Built Environment (BBCBE). He serves on the Executive Committee of the Construction Sector Charter Council (CSCC). He is the inaugural Deputy Chairman of the construction industry associations’ umbrella body the Construction Alliance South Africa (CASA).
He represents the Black Business Council at NEDLAC and the BRICS Business Council’s Infrastructure Working Group. He sits on the Construction Industry Development Board’s National Stakeholder Forum (CIDB NSF) on behalf of the BBCBE.
He is the chairman of Tysys Capital Group, Tusk Construction Support Services and m2g Investment Holdings. He is a board member of the leading majority black-woman owned and led Motheo Construction Group.

Sindi is the founder of The African Women Chartered Accountants. She later led the formation of the commercial arm, AWCA Investment Holdings (AIH) which she currently chairs.
She is the Managing Partner of AIH Capital the Private Equity firm of AIH, which is a proud member of SAVCA.
She has served on a number of large and listed companies where she has chaired the Audit & Risk Committees, Social & Ethics Committees and Remuneration Committees. Her current boards include MTN Group, Bidvest Group, Sun International Limited, BMW South Africa amongst others. She is a Fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, Member of International Women’s Forum
Hamza Farooqui
A tourism trailblazer, Hamza Farooqui, has put his years of experience in the hospitality and tourism sector to good use, with this industry in South Africa benefiting from his wily yet focused entrepreneurial approach. Not letting the Covid-19 pandemic scupper any of his plans, Farooqui, the CEO of global venture capital and investment firm, Millat Investments, has been the driving force behind the opening of four Hyatt branded properties in Cape Town and Johannesburg in the last 18 months. Farooqui, eats, sleeps and drinks tourism and hospitality and is focussed on creating opportunities in the sector and ensuring economic growth for all involved.
Phuthi Mahanyele-Dabengwa
In 2020, Phuthi ranked number 42 in Fortune’s Most Powerful Women International list. In May 2016 Phuthi
became a member of the Rutgers University Hall of Distinguished Alumni. She has been awarded several
accolades such as CNBC Africa’s All Africa Business Leaders “Woman of the Year Award” in 2019 and the Forbes Woman Africa “Businesswoman of the Year” Award in 2014. In 2013, she was awarded a “Distinguished Achievement” Award by The Douglass Society, and the Africa Investors recognised her as a “Leading Africa Woman in Business of the Year” in 2012. In 2011, Rutgers University conferred on her the “Rutgers Vision of Excellence Award”. In 2009, she was awarded the “Most Influential Woman in Government and Business” by Financial Services. The Wall Street Journal counted her among the “Top 50 women in the world to watch”. Phuthi was also selected as a Global Young Leader in 2007 by the World Economic Forum. She was awarded “Top in Project Finance, 2003” by the Association of Black Securities & Investment Professionals. Phuthi completed a BA Economics from Rutgers University, USA in 1993, and an MBA from De Montfort University in the UK in 1996. She also completed the Kennedy School of Government Executive Education programme “Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century” at Harvard University in 2008. She is the Vice Chairperson of the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation and is an independent director of Vodacom Group. She serves on the advisory board of Stellenbosch University’s business school. Phuthi also serves on the board of the United Nation’s Global Compact Network SA. She is also a council member of the BRICS Business Council in South Africa.
Pumla Ncapayi
Pumla Ncapayi is the current CEO of the FSTC, an entity that is empowered to advance transformational imperatives within the financial services sector. Prior to her current position she has served in numerous positions as a Senior Executive with over 22 years of progressive experience in the public sector within the Economic Cluster with extensive experience in policy development and implementation, business development, administration, governance, and strategy. At the nexus of Ms Ncapayi’s experience are her enormous contributions within critical departments in government spheres spearheading initiatives of import geared towards realising South Africa ‘s developmental objectives, i.e. within the dtic, Kwazulu Natal Economic Development and Gauteng Economic Development where she served as the Head of Department.

Donald’s qualifications include a BA (Honours) from RAU (now the University of Johannesburg), a Management Development Programme from the Unisa School of Business Leadership, and an Advanced Executive Programme from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
